The Answers You Need
Can I schedule a school visit?
Of course! We would love to show you around the school during the day from 10-2pm, or after the school day is complete from 3:45-5:30pm.
Can my child/children enrol throughout the school year?
Yes they can! We would love to help transition your children throughout the year in a painless way. Our staff are committed to meeting you as a family where you are in your schooling process.
Do you offer tuition help?
We do. We have a bursary fund that is given out at the beginning of August every year. Families are more than welcome to fill out the Apple Financial form to see how we can help you with your tuition needs.
Can parents volunteer in the school?
Yes! Though Covid-19 has changed the way parents are able to volunteer in classrooms, we require each family to donate 20 hours per year to school activities. This can include participating on our School Board, helping with our Parent Teacher Fellowship, driving to Speech Meets and Sports Games, helping with toys that need to be cleaned at home, working with staff during recess times to watch over lower field and kindergarten areas.
Do you accept International Students?
We do. We have a separate enrolment package for students transferring from other Countries and we'd love to discuss this option with you!
How are you following all Covid-19 guidelines?
We are following all York Region Public Health and Ministry of Education protocols. There are hepa filters and air conditioners in each teaching area, and we implement all mask, hand-washing, and screening protocol that we are given from the above governing bodies.
Do students wear uniforms?
We have 2 different uniforms - our formal uniform worn on Mondays, Special Events and Holidays, and our Tuesday-Friday 'uniform' of navy bottoms and white polo shirts.
What are the times
of your school day?
Students are in class from 8:30am to 3:35pm. There is a morning recess, lunch recess, and afternoon recess.
Do you have an after school program?
We have a before school and after school program available from 7:30-8:20 am, and 3:30-5:30pm that parents can take advantage of daily.
