Daily Schedule
The school day begins at 8:35 a.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m. Outside supervision begins at 8:20 a.m.

Before and After School Supervision
NDCA offers Before and After School Care for our students.. Families may use this service on a regular basis or " as needed. "
Before school care begins at 7:30 a.m. until 8:20.
Regular supervision is from 8:20 until school entry at 8:35 a.m.
After school hours of operation: 3:45-5:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
Students who have not been picked up by 3:45 p.m. on any school day will automatically be entered into the After School Programme. Rates are very reasonable.
Uniforms
All students are required to wear a school uniform.
The 'regular uniform' is required most days and the school 'dress uniform' is worn on the first day of the week and other special days (e.g., picture day, school trips).

White golf shirts, blouses, turtle necks etc. should not have any type of label or logo.

Field Trips
All classes will have at least one or two field trips during the school year. Previous trips have included visits to a farm, Newmarket Theatre, the fire hall, the sugar bush, the Royal Ontario Museum, the Science Centre, Kortright Centre, Fairglen Camp, Royal Winter Fair, downhill skiing, Warsaw Caves, Pioneer Camp, Black Creek Pioneer Village and the Art Gallery of Ontario. The Grades 7 and 8 classes travel to Quebec City for a history/French trip in alternate years.
Clubs, Teams and Special Events
NDCA students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of clubs, teams and events which may include:

- Christmas and spring concert presentations
- Musical presentations
- Annual spelling bee and speech meet events
- Chess club
- Jump Rope and Hoops for Heart
- Jr. and Sr. Choir and Band
- Special Event Days such as:
Teddy Bear Day (Gr. K-2), Olympic Day, Red and Green Day, Beach Day, Play Day - Team and individual sports:
Cross-country running (Gr. 3-8), Volleyball (Gr. 7-8), Basketball (Gr. 5-8), Badminton (Gr. 7-8), Track and Field (Gr. 3-8)
NDCA teams and students compete in various one-day tournaments and events with other Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) students from the GTA.
