Helping Others

“Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.”
– Philippians 2:4

At NDCA, we teach our students that helping others is an important part of life, in accordance with God’s teaching. We strive to act this out in the following ways:

  • Our students support a child at Mully Children’s Family home in Ndalani, Kenya and for a number of years have collected school supplies and funds for MCF.
  • Every year, each class prepares a number of shoe boxes as part of the internationally recognized Operation Christmas Child project. These boxes are distributed to needy children around the world.
  • School supplies have been sent to needy students in Haiti.
  • For over 25 years, NDCA students have participated in Jump Rope for Heart and Hoops for Heart sponsorship programs to provide funds for the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Our students have raised over $80,000 for the Heart and Stroke Foundation since beginning this program.
  • Students have contributed to tsunami and hurricane relief funds, as well as to families affected by the fires in Fort McMurray and the civil war in Syria.
  • Yearly contributions are made to local food banks.

“Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.”

– Philippians 2:4
